100th Post--Kelsey's 9 Months Old!

We've officially been in the blogging world for 1 1/2 years now, and we've finally reached our 100th post! Hooray! It is crazy to think of all that has happened since our first post. I have been pregnant, graduated, and had Kelsey. We've been through the trials of losing a job, moving twice, and dealing with circumstances that aren't quite ideal, but we've tried to stay happy along the way! We've had our ups and downs like everyone else I'm sure. But nothing makes me happier than having a truly tremendous husband and a beautiful, intelligent, and healthy daughter.

Kelsey's 9 month check up went well. She is definitely leveling off on the growth charts. She is 28 inches tall, which is around the 75 percentile, and she weighed 18 pounds 7 ounces, which is the 50th percentile. (She used to always be around the 90th percentile.) It made me so mad though because at Kelsey's last two appointments, she has had a huge messy diaper right when we get there, so she always weighs a little less! But Kelsey is very healthy and is striving well. Oh, and her head circumference is 18 inches. They didn't tell me the percentile at the doctor's office, but I just looked it up, and it says that is the 90th percentile. I didn't really think Kelsey's head was that big, but maybe I'm wrong. She had to get her finger pricked to check if she is anemic, and she is not! And, no shots, so that's always good!

I had a really cute video posted of Kelsey ripping up the paper on the table at the doctor's office, but the audio isn't working right for some reason . . . sorry!

Here are some things that Kelsey enjoys doing:

1) Standing herself up with anything she thinks can help her; i.e. the couch, mom, toys, crib, bathtub, etc.
2) Sitting up by herself from the lying down position.
3) Clapping along when we sing "If you're happy and you know it"
4) Having 7 teeth! (4 on top, 3 on bottom)
5) Feeding herself little finger foods.
6) Drinking juice and then smacking her lips.
7) Sleeping 8-9 hours at night.
8) Playing with musical toys so she can sing and dance along.
9) Walking around (still with help.)
10) Saying "Dada", "Mama", "Rara" and "Nana" and other random mumblings
11) Going to Disneyland!
12) Socializing with other kids!
13) Becoming more brave and adventurous every day!

And here are some pictures of Kelsey in a pretty spring dress from her Grandma Malouf.Kelsey is thinking to herself, "Do you really think you can put this pot of flowers by me just to look pretty? Of course I'm going to grab them!"

Pretty flowers!

I love Daddy, yes-sir-ree!

Flowers make me happy!

Getting a little curious.

Love her little leg rolls!

My absolute favorite picture!

I know I always say this, but I really can't believe how fast the time flies! It really doesn't feel like that long ago when you lived downstairs and were waiting and waiting for her to come...! She is so big and so, so cute! I'm so excited that you're coming out to Utah, and Tucker can't wait to meet his little girlfriend! Let us know when you'll have time to stop by.
