Toy Story 3

I failed to blog about one of the highlights of Kelsey's summer . . . going to see Toy Story 3! My mom was sweet enough to send Kyle some money for Father's Day for us to go see the movie as a family! Kelsey was beyond excited about getting to watch "Buzz Woody" (as she calls it!) The entire morning before we saw it, we had "Friend in Me" on repeat, and Kelsey loved singing it over and over and over!

So, lately Kelsey has been going through one of those "I will not smile for pictures" phases. We try everything to get her to smile . . . tickling, saying, "show us your teeth", and various other tricks, but none of them really work. She is the little boss and decides when she wants to smile.
Well, to my amazement, she was ALL smiles for her Toy Story 3 photo shoot! These are all genuine smiles, I didn't even have to ask her to say cheese. This is literally how excited she was to see the movie!

This was Kelsey's real first movie theater experience. She did great! The only downfall was from the time we got there to when the movie actually started was 40 minutes! We should have had her play out in the lobby for a while. Toward the end of the movie she wanted to get up and run around, but really, we were impressed with how well she did! Oh, and Miley loved it too! She was sitting up watching it, just as enthralled as could be! We were so thrilled with how funny and wonderful the movie was! We still can't get over how much Kelsey loves Buzz and Woody! Hopefully it will be out on DVD for Christmas!
