Miley is 6 Months!

Miley turned 6 months old! This is a big milestone in my book--it's exciting and a little overwhelming at the same time! I truly cannot believe how quickly she is growing and learning. She is so interested and curious by new surroundings. Some of her fun personality and physical milestones:

1) Miley likes to read books. But not just read them and turn the pages herself, she also loves to slap her hand on a book, and then rub it down from top to bottom so it makes that amazingly high pitched screeching equal in shrillness to fingernails on a chalkboard! And she does it over, and over, and over because she thinks it's incredible she found out how to produce that sound! My ears are hurting just as I'm writing this!

2) Miley loves to eat. But not just milk and veggies, she also loves to eat paper! I mean, this girl could go through a ream of paper in an hour! And she's not picky, she likes newspaper ads, magazines, books, you name it, she'll eat it! (Thank goodness she's not picky with her veggies either!)

3) Miley loves to scoot. She has her own version of being mobile and getting to things she wants, namely paper, to get her mouth on! She gets up on all four and rocks like crazy, then she sticks her bum all the way in the air and makes a teepee formation and then leaps. It's quite comical to watch! Of course these amazing moves are also paired with her rolling around everywhich way. If I leave the room for a minute, I never know where I will find her when I come back!

4) Miley loves her big sister. Miley thinks Kelsey is the coolest person on the planet! Anything Kelsey does is hilarious, and Kelsey enjoys every second of being so well received by such a captivating audience! Miley even endures through the "rough" big sister play and having Kelsey be the boss. Miley loves to ride on Kelsey's shoulders around the house! (With adult supervision of course!) It is so cute to see how they play off of each other and love one another so deeply at such a young age!

5) Miley is the epitome of a chill baby. She loves to just hang out and go with the flow of life! Of course she loves to explore new things and can be quite the wiggle worm and bouncy child, but she is always good while we are out and about running errands or getting in as many rides as possible at Disneyland!

I LOVE being a mom of TWO amazing girls! Of course motherhood has its sacrifices and hardships, but I am so grateful to have such a wonderful growing family!
