Numbers

I've always been a math-oriented person, so I love dealing with numbers. I used to be so proud of myself for remembering people's birthdays and other special dates. I am not that great anymore because there's something about becoming a mom that fries your brain cells! Anyway, here are some numbers that are intriguing to me right now:

38: Number of dates since my last post

That's a long time! We've been busy moving and settling into our own home! (Renting)

32: Number of times I've been to Disneyland in the last 7 months.

This is an approximate number. I'm really not sure, but it seems like a pretty reasonable guesstimate! I really do love going to Disneyland, and we have tried to make the most of having passes. I think we're doing a good job! And Kelsey sure loves it too!

3: Number of years Kyle and I have been married

Our anniversary is tomorrow! Which leads me to another number, which happens to be my favorite number . . .

22: Special date of my birthday, my dad's birthday, our wedding anniversary, and

the number of months apart Kelsey and her younger sibling will be!!!!

We are so excited for Kelsey to be a big sister! She is in such a baby-loving stage. Anytime she sees a baby, she gets excited and starts saying "baby, baby, baby, baby!" She is also very nurturing and helpful around babies. She always makes sure they have a bottle or a pacifier. Anyway, we just wanted to share this wonderful news with all of you! I had an appointment today, and the heartbeat was strong and incredible! And yes, if you're wondering, my belly is much bigger this time around! More updates to come. (Hopefully sooner than 38 days!)

And I saw your status on facebook--so sad about Kelsey! Hope she's doing better and that you haven't had any more scares. (That would totally scare me to death!) We miss you guys!

Thanks everyone! We are so excited. I am 14 weeks along now, but I've had the flu this whole last week, so I haven't been feeling well at all!

According to Kelsey we are having a boy, and we've asked her at least 500 times (no joke!) Anytime we ask her, she says the baby is a "brother". So, I guess we'll just have to wait a few more weeks and see if she's right!

My due date is March 27, but it looks like I'll be having a scheduled C-section sometime that week before. Apparently my body wouldn't be able to handle delivering a 6 pound baby, so doctor says C-section is a must for me.
