Recently we took up the arduous task of collecting 1,000 old family photos with the intention to scan them. After doing some research online, we found a company called Scan My Photos (http://www.scanmyphotos.com). They offer a cheap solution to preserve your memories at 300 dpi--not bad. We've scanned photos ourselves before and know that it is no simple task. Our experience with Scan My Photos was kind of a taste of realism seeing as our photos weren't actually ready when they said they would be. The delay didn't bother us that much when they offered us a discount for having to wait. There were only a couple photos that turned out bad but we expected some of that. The thing that bothered us most was that only 938 of our 1,000 photos were scanned with no note or reason for why. I guess we will have to block out an hour or so to scan the remaining 62 photos. Overall, we saved a lot of time outsourcing our photo scanning and recommend it to everyone.the good
