Grandma Came on an Airplane for Easter!

Kelsey was SO excited for Grandma to come visit for Easter! She would always ask Grandma multiple times on the phone if she was gonna come on an airplane to her house for Easter! We had a great time!

Kelsey, Grandma, and Miley are three cute chicks!

Now Miley is hatching.

Grandma with the two cutest granddaughters ever!

Kelsey LOVES to ride ponies! She was a little sad that Rocky was taking a break this day, but she got to ride Echo instead. It was funny because at first she kept saying the name as "yucko!"

Miley's first time riding a pony--Dolly. She was pretty hesitant to say the least. When I was putting her on the horse, she kept crying and arching her back trying to get off! But, once we got moving around, I just held her hand and we were singing songs. She started to like it and kept making horsey noises.
Saturday we got together with the Christensens for lunch and an Easter egg hunt. All the Christensen cousins!

The oldest three of the bunch who were most willing to stay still!

Miley was content after finding one egg!

My beautiful girls!

My sweet girls in their Easter dresses! I love this picture!

Miley's Easter basket . . . swimsuit, dress, bunny potato head.

Kelsey's Easter basket . . . coloring book, dress, swimsuit, bunny book, Cinderella Barbie, church sandals. The Easter Bunny really spoiled Kelsey this year!

Miley LOVED walking around with the bunny potato head! I think she was waiting for Grandma to come visit before she finally started to walk around all the time! We love it!

Daddy and his cute daughters on Easter. Kelsey's face is great!

Our little family. Yep, this was the best one . . . sad, I know!

.0Bunny cupcakes we made.

Grandma and Kelsey in the backyard getting ready to do some serious gardening!

Kelsey was such a good helper to carry all the plants over for us!

She even enjoyed stopping and posing for pictures along the way.

Kelsey helping Grandma stick the little plant cards in the dirt. This was Kelsey's favorite thing! She kept taking them all out so she could put them back in again.

Our grow box. Filled with tomatoes, zucchini, cilantro, chives, cantaloupe, cucumber, and basil.

Area by our door before--majorly overgrown.

Area by our door after--tamed!

Kelsey helping Grandma with the dirt.

Back area before--massive tree stump, and overgrown flowers.

All of the overgrown flowers in a pile.

I got in a fight with a shovel . . . the shovel won! (Will not wear sandals next time I am trying to dig some roots out. I forget my own strength sometimes!)

Back area after--lots of strawberry plants!

Back area after--two sago palms.

Kelsey and Grandma walking into Disneyland!

In front of the castle.

Miley and Grandma waiting in line for Casey Jr. train!

Grandma and Daddy were worried about getting too sick on the tea cups ride, so we just posed for a picture instead.

Grandma and Miley had fun pointing at things on Small World.

Kelsey got to take Grandma on the roller coaster! They had a blast!

After the roller coaster, Pluto made an appearance, and we got right at the front of the line! Yipee!

Kelsey was excited to meet Minnie! Miley was asleep in Grandma's arms.

Miley and Grandma by some pretty flowers by the princess storytime room.

Kelsey and Grandma with Tiana.

Apparently Princess Tiana doesn't like to be too close to children! This was after I had asked her to scoot closer!

Belle is the best! She is so sweet with all the kids!

We had a great Easter week with Grandma in town! We kept very busy with gardening, and it already feels so rewarding to feel like our hard work is paying off. It was also neat to have Kelsey understand the true meaning of Easter better this year. One day Miley fell down, and she ran to tell me, "Mommy, Miley all fall down and got owies on her hands like Jesus!" She also loved to tell us "And they opened the door, and Jesus wasn't there!" (referring to the tomb)
