It's amazing how much faster the days and weeks go by when you're not p
regnant anymore! Our little Kelsey is already 2 weeks old! She has been enjoying California for the most part --she just doesn't like the heat. She takes after her mommy a
nd gets all sweaty. We can't wait until we can start swimming at the beach! After the 11 1/2 hour drive to get here, we were pretty pooped, but we have already done so much since we've been here. Kelsey has enjoyed a graduation, a birthday party, and an Angels game! She is quite the social butterfly!
We took her in for her 2 week check-up today, and she has grown so much! Her birth weight was 8 lbs. 8 oz, but in the hospital she dropped as low as 7 lbs. 11 oz. We are happy to report Kelsey has gained back all of her weight and then some! She is a hefty 9 lbs even! We're glad she has gained her weight back, but what really scares me is that she has alr
eady grown an inch! She was 20 inches long at birth, and now she is 21 inches long! She really must take after her daddy as far as growing goes. She's gonna be taller than I am by the time she's three at this rate. The nurse and doctor both commented about how
strong and alert Kelsey is. She really is quite a fiesty child. She throws kicks and punches like a champ! Here are some more recent pictures of our little angel.

Ooh, she does sound like a little social butterfly! So Moriah supposedly grew 1.5 inches at her 2 week checkup and I was so amazed. Then Evan said they probably measured her wrong when she was born. He said that it looked hard to measure them because they all curled up in a ball.

She is so so so cute! We miss her (and you)! Are these pictures from the photoshoot with your friend, or are they pictures you took yourself? Either way, they look great! I can't believe it's been two weeks already, and you're already in California!

She's adorable! Just like she was when you guys left us... Haha (aww....) We miss you guys. I'm glad to hear you guys are doing well and that she's a sports fan! She's growing like crazy! And, by my engineering-like calculations, at this rate, she'll grow 77 more inches by the time she's 3 years old ({[3 years * 52 weeks] - 2 weeks}/2)! Scary! =)
