Going for Gold!

So, I'm sure a lot of people have wondered what it's like to win a gold medal at the Olympics--I know I have! Well, I came as close to this experience as possible. That's right . . . I got to wear an Olympic Gold Medal from the Beijing Olympics! I'm certain it feels even better knowing that you actually worked hard enough to be awarded such a prestigious honor, but I felt really special and honored too. Pretty sure that's a once (or twice, and maybe thrice) in a lifetime opportunity if your name isn't Michael Phelps!

Here are a few pictures we got. Sorry they're such bad quality . . . of course the camera was on a bad setting and we didn't realize it until after we had left!

Kelsey and Kyle with the gold medal.
Kelsey felt really special. She was watching the Olympics when this very gold medal was being awarded. Our Gold Medal Team! The medal is really heavy by the way!

Yeah yeah - you just didn't want to say you had a bad photographer :) admit it!

Super cool that we got to see that - really is a unique opportunity!

Don't worry Chels, you aren't a bad photographer. I had been playing around with it a few days ago and left it on ISO 1600. I just forgot to change it back. Totally my fault!
