Friday was as close to perfect as perfect gets! Kelsey was such a joy all day, and we did lots of fun stuff! We picked up Kyle for his lunch break and headed to the beach. That's right folks, we've got 85 degree weather here! On our way to the beach, we stopped by Sprinkles Cupcakes for a scrumptious pumpkin cupcake with cinnamon cream cheese frosting. And yes, the frosting is divine! Kyle doesn't typically like frosting, but he even devoured his half! We've only been there twice, but both times we have split a cupcake. First and foremost, they are a little pricey, and not even that big, and we couldn't rationalize spending that much on cupcakes. Secondly, I don't want to think about the caloric intake from a whole cupcake, so it makes me feel better that I only ate half!
So, we headed to the beach and had fun just walking around and taking in the beauty. Then, we dropped Kyle back off at work and Kelsey and I headed to a friend's house for a little while for a little play date. Kelsey had lots of fun playing with Hudson and his mom Lesha!
Then we came home, ate dinner, and headed off to Downtown Disney! We had so much fun walking around, but our main purpose was to go to Build-A-Bear. We made a really cute bear for Kelsey's 1st Valentine's Day. Kelsey helped us pick out the bear and everything. We held up the two bears that we liked the most, and then let Kelsey decide. We thought it was funny that Kelsey picked the cheaper bear! After that, we split some delicious nachos. Kelsey was a good and happy girl all day! We had such a blast!
