Disappointing End to the School Year

As my final semester comes to a close, we have been able to enjoy some fun festivities. Our closing social was at Trafalga.

Here is a picture of Kyle and Curt racing the go-carts. Holly and I opted out because we didn't want our unborn children to have any long-term defects from being bumped. So, we happily cheered from the sidelines. It was fun to watch our husbands lap the other people about 6 times!I told Holly that I felt like I was watching Super Mario Kart, so we affectionately gave our husbands the nicknames of Koopa Troopa and Luigi.

Here I am, almost 8 months pregnant mind you, playing Dance Dance Revolution. I can't say it was my finest performance ever, but I passed!

Here we are in the Wilk Ballroom for Grad Night "Oh the Places You'll Go." We were slightly disappointed over last year's festivities, but it was still a fun night. It was fun to have Kyle's siblings and their spouses there. We won a watter bottle and a keychain playing Plinko, but we were sad we didn't win any of the big raffle prizes.

Here I am on my very last day of school ever and 8 months pregnant! I wish I had a picture handy of my first day of Kindergarten to show you how much I've grown (more wide than tall however.) I even had Kyle drop me off and pick me up like I was a little kid. After class, we celebrated at Outback Steakhouse, which was so yummy! (Note: We mainly went there because we had a gift card--we're not that rich!) I am so relieved to be finished with my classes . . . now I just need to get through my four final exams! I am hoping to be all finished on Saturday so I can have the whole next week off until I get to waddle across the stage!

Today was a reading day, and I've been studying away. It also happened to be the first day to sell back text books, so I was determined to go and get some money back. Well, I was extremely disappointed to only receive $21 back for my books! I'm pretty sure my books cost about $300 this semester! The lady said that they were not buying back some of my books, and other ones they had already met the quota. I asked the lady if she was being serious because I was so taken aback! Talk about a disappointing end to last time ever of selling back books!

Yeah Megan! You're almost done - I can't believe you're totally done with classes - FOREVER! I also can't believe that there is only 38 days on your countdown for baby! Yeah!
