One year ago today, Miley Ann entered our lives! We love her special spunk that she adds to our family!
Miley loves to
- Eat! Eat! Eat! This girl can chow down like a pro! She seriously eats more than I do sometimes! (Which is a lot!) She loves to eat scrambled eggs, chicken nuggets, mac 'n cheese, veggie straws, pretzels, spaghetti, cereal, and of course, she inherited Mommy's love for sweets! If she sees anyone eating food, she grunts at them and reaches her hand until she gets some!
- Play outside! Kelsey knows how to open the sliding door, so I often find them playing outside together!
- Be mischievous! Miley loves to pull out all the diapers, get into Mommy's purse and wallet, and rip up kleenex into lots of teeny pieces! And she sure has fun doing it!
- Run (crawl) away during diaper changes. She thinks it is SO funny to crawl away while she is naked. She makes a game out of it and loves to be chased!
- Stand up all by herself, but she isn't too fond of walking yet! She occasionally takes a couple of steps, but she is just content as can be crawling around because she is so fast!
It's weird to think that this day last year we were in the hospital experiencing so much joy having Miley join our family, and this year we are in the hospital for Kyle to have his third chemo treatment. This experience has made us even more grateful for our beautiful little girls! I will have to post a little better later, but this is the best I can do from the chemo clinic!
