Here are some pictures from the past week. We went hiking up Rock Canyon Park. It was definitely more difficult than when we hiked it last summer. I suppose that's what being 38 weeks pregnant does to a woman. The major problem was that I had to go to the bathroom!
We also went to the driving range with a couple of friends. Mind you, the only golfing experience, if you can call it that, I have ever had has been putt-putt and Wii golf, so I had no clue what I was doing. Our friends kept telling me to keep my arm straight, but I told them that was impossible because of my big belly. I literally had to bend my arm just to avoid hitting myself. I had to swing about 15 times just to hit the first ball! I just kept pretending like they were all practice swings. My first hit was a total dud, but I was glad I had finally made contact. Then, the second ball I hit went soaring! I wasn't sure how I did it, and I screamed out of shock, and then everyone else at the range started looking at me like I was a crazy person. Oh well, I was proud of myself. I jokingly said I should stop there while I had a "good" hit, but I decided to keep trying more. I was right, I should have stopped after I had that hit because it was the only decent shot I had the whole evening. Kyle and I also had fun trying to "dress the part."
Kyle got some very interesting looks because of his decor. He looks so preppy! What a stud!
This picture makes me laugh because I swung, but the ball is clearly still on the tee!
Here are some pictures from a little get together we had up in Provo Canyon. We all brought our own dinners, and then roasted s'mores later. We played some frisbee and croquet. We definitely had a blast!
The boys cleaning out the fire pit, so we could start our own fire.
Kyle and I grilled some chicken burgers. They were delicious!
I started out playing pretty pitifully, but then I was amazing! We were the first team to be poison!
Kyle was very serious about his shots! We are a pretty competitive couple! After croquet, we enjoyed some s'mores and the nice mountain air. Since Kyle and I are moving after the baby, we have been trying to clean out unnecessary clutter, so we decided to throw some old school stuff in the fire.
And, of course, Kyle has still been playing volleyball almost every day. Here he is strutting his stuff at Kiwanis Park.
