My mom came into town on Memorial Day, and we've been having tons of fun with her. We ate at Smokehouse Pizza and BBQ because Texans love gettin' messy! Of course nothing really compares to real Texas BBQ, but it was the best we could get in Provo. We also hit up a matinee showing of Made of Honor. We thought it was a cute movie, and it will probably be the last movie we see in the theater for a while. We have been extremely busy getting last minute stuff for the baby and hospital. I thought that I was prepared until my mom told me all of these other things I needed like a robe and slippers. I just thought I was supposed to wear the ugly hospital gown the whole time, but my mom insisted I shouldn't wear that for two days. Granted, I'm sure some people could do without the luxury of a robe and slippers, but my mom had to spoil me a little bit because I'm her baby! It's been SO fun having my mom in town because she never comes up to Provo except for helping her kids move up here or coming up for graduation--so she's actually been able to relax and enjoy her surroundings. We met up with my brother and his wife last night to eat at Zupas! Yummy! After Zupas, Driel called and invited my mom and me to go work out with her. It was really fun to have girl time, and it made me tired, so I was able to sleep fairly well. I'm pretty sure I only got up once or twice during the night to use the bathroom--usually it's more like four!
We have probably spent most of our time packing up our house! Lemme tell ya, that is never a fun project, but it is especially not fun when you are 3 days overdue! I seriously can't bend over to put stuff in boxes. I guess it is kind of nice though because I have an excuse to not lift heavy things or over exert myself, but it has definitely been exhausting!
