Recent Happenings

Well, we've been staying busy this past little bit, and here's a summary of what's been happening:

Kyle had a dentist appointment yesterday up in Salt Lake to get a new crown (seriously, every single tooth in his mouth has something done to it . . . filling, root canal, crown--you name it, Kyle has it!) Since we were up that way, we decided to go around Temple Square because it was a beautiful day! We also got to visit with Kyle's grandparents who are serving a mission there. They love to "show us off" to all of the other missionaries!

Kyle also loves to stay active. He plays basketball three days a week and volleyball about 2-3 times a week. He loves the spring time here because he actually gets to play outdoors. For those of you who don't know, Kyle really likes to have his shirt off because he feels less constricted! One young family here imported 200 tons of sand to put a volleyball court in their backyard. Kyle was in heaven!

Today we had to take one of our cars in because it's been overheating, which is kind of scary. So, we're awaiting a call any time now to hear the "damage" (meaning, at least another $1,000 we will have to come up with.) We are feeling very poor right now considering we have ZERO income, yet we have a baby coming in only 2-3 weeks. Needless to say, we are not looking forward to this unexpected cost of a car problem on top of our normal expenses. Well, we had to take care of some other business, but we got the call about our car, and the parts are not very expensive to replace, yet we're supposed to pay $500 in labor! Absolutely ridiculous! Have I ever mentioned how much I HATE taking cars in? I'm considering just getting a bus pass!

"he feels less constricted!" ha ha! I know, I know... Shirts are horribly constrictive. Summer couldn't have come any sooner...
