Role Switcheroo, New Hair Do, and a Fire Too

Ta da! The finished product! A job well done. Kyle also made some mashed potatoes and grilled the corn on the cob, but I didn't get pictures of those.

Kyle let me get a hair cut as an early birthday present. Yes, it's sad that these days, every kind of purchase we make is considered a luxury and must be counted as a present!
And here is my lovely 38 week belly. I get comments every day now from strangers that I look like I'm about to pop! I don't know if that's good or bad. Hopefully our little angel will come soon. Of course we'll have an update on Wednesday.

Also, we just found out that Kyle's parent's house in California caught on fire during the middle of the night! Kyle's dad had a dream that their neighbor's house was on fire and the ash came over to their roof and caught their house on fire. What a scary dream, which was practically a reality! He woke up and found the entire house filled with smoke because the downstairs bathroom had caught on fire. Of course there was quite a bit of damage and soot throughout the house, but we feel very lucky that the fire didn't spread through the whole house, and most importantly, that no one was hurt.
